Andy brings a broad and grounded perspective to the Board of Veritas Speciality Claims. He began his career in the Italian Navy before joining the Merchant Navy in 1998, where he served in various roles rising to deck officer and ultimately Port Captain.

Following his maritime career, Andy retrained and qualified as a massage therapist and has successfully operated his own practice for a number of years. His varied professional background—combining discipline, independence and client-focused service—adds a distinctive dimension to the Board’s oversight and strategic direction.
